Social Scribe

Terms of service

Last updated 27 August 2026

These terms

These terms cover your use of Social Scribe (socialscribe.in) — a desk for writing, tagging, scheduling, and posting to X.

By signing in, joining the waitlist, or using the product, you agree to this page and the Privacy policy.

The service

Social Scribe lets you draft posts, mark them Ready, assign them to weekly theme slots, attach images, and send them to X when you connect an account.

New accounts are invite-only for now. A waitlist is open on the public site. We may refuse, suspend, or close an account.

Your account

You sign in with email and password. Keep the password to yourself. You are responsible for activity on the account, including posts sent from a connected X account through Social Scribe.

Your content

You own the drafts, notes, tags, images, and alt text you put in Social Scribe. You give us permission to store them and, when you schedule a send or tap Post now, to deliver them to X on your behalf. We do not claim your words.

X

Connecting X is optional. If you connect it, we store encrypted access and refresh tokens so we can post as you. X’s own terms still apply to that account.

Disconnecting X in Connections stops auto-posting; it does not delete your Social Scribe account. If X rejects a post, the calendar will show the failure. We do not promise that a scheduled send will land at the booked minute.

Acceptable use

Do not use Social Scribe to spam, impersonate, break the law, or abuse X or our hosts. We may suspend or delete an account that does.

Availability

The product is provided as-is. Scheduled sends depend on our publisher, X’s API, and your connection. We do not promise a particular send time, uptime, or that X will accept every post.

Closing an account

There is no in-app delete button yet. Message @jain_harshit on X and ask us to delete the account. Tell us the email on it. We will remove the account, posts, images, and encrypted X tokens.

You can delete individual posts and images in the app, and disconnect X, without closing the account.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page is the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
